Conduct a comprehensive review and analysis of the case study for this assignment, and make recommendations for organizational improvement. Access the case study for your specialization in the Case Library for Module 2. You will use either the Spring Valley Mental Health Center or the Capital Veterinarian Clinic, depending on your specialization. Imagine you have been hired to assist the leadership team within the organization described in the case study. In a paper of at least 15 pages (excluding title, abstract, and reference pages), address all of the following: a. Analyze the current situation within the organization. Provide a thorough overview of the organizational factors that contribute to the current situation described in the case study, using the Burke-Litwin model of organizational performance and change to structure your analysis. b. Discuss the concept of organizational values and ethics, and the role that formal codes of values and ethics play in guiding organizational behavior. Describe the concerns you have about the values and ethics apparent in the organization. What specific recommendations do you have for organizational leaders to address these concerns? What advice or counsel would you give to specific leaders with respect to their personal behaviors and decisions? c. Analyze the situation within this organization in terms of diversity and inclusion. What specific changes should the organization make to strengthen social and cultural diversity and inclusion within the organization? Identify at least three specific actions you would recommend for leaders in the organization to help them move the organization forward in this area. d. Design an assessment plan to gather additional information to help the leaders in the organization develop personal and leadership skills. Include in your plan:  The specific assessments you would use and a justification for your choice of assessments;  How you would introduce the assessments to the leaders and others in the organization; and,  How you would deliver the results of the assessments to ensure that results are used for personal learning and growth. e. Construct an overall set of recommendations for leaders in the organization to strengthen and improve organizational effectiveness, justifying your recommendations based on academic research and relevant principles, theories, and models that guide practitioners in your area of specialization. Outline the steps leaders might take to implement your recommendations. Support your analysis, discussion, and recommendations with references to at least seven scholarly sources (academic journal articles) in addition to any required course readings and any Internet sources you reference. Your Week Seven paper is an assignment that builds on the work you completed during Weeks Four, Five, and Six of the course. Therefore, it is natural that you will use concepts you discussed in your previous papers in this summative assignment. However, you MUST produce original academic work for this paper. It is NOT acceptable to cut and paste sections from previous papers into this paper. Paper demonstrates an understanding of the impact of social and cultural diversity on an organization, and identifies specific concerns about diversity issues evident in the case study. Paper includes a selection of assessment tools appropriate to the situation, reflecting a suitable mix of assessment approaches. Paper reflects an understanding of how assessments will help stimulate personal and professional growth among organizational leaders. Paper contains a comprehensive set of recommendations for organizational leaders to strengthen and improve organizational effectiveness. Paper demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of and an ability to apply key principles, theories and models relevant to the student’s area of specialization.
