For frequently occurring behaviours it is sometimes useful to employ a portable counter system. e.g., daily diary, calendar entry on mobile, pedometer. 5. Include a reinforcement schedule. e.g., make watching a c TV program a daily reinforcer, a DVD movie the weekly reinforcement, and a gold class movie ticket your final reinforcement. Regarding reinforcement, be clear about what level of success is required to achieve the reinforcer. Do you need to achieve the goal perfectly to receive the reward, or will partial achievement be rewarded? Writing up the report: There is no formal format for this writing this assignment. Include the following subsections: The chosen health behavior, defined as a goal. A brief paragraph on why you wanted to change this behaviour. Reproduce the 3 rating scales: Importance, Readiness, Confidence (rated 1-10) from tutorial 1 in week 2, and discuss usefulness. Method employed (action plan) How it was monitored. Reinforcement schedule used. Presentation of results (graphed) and discussion of results. Barriers encountered.
