The separation of power has brought out a big argument over the duties of president and the Congress in both domestic and international matters since there have been at time conflicting roles, hence the United State president have to be keen on his roles in order to meet his political objectives. The constitution of United State gives the president the following roles; 1. Power to make treaties and appoint an ambassador This is established in the article II of the constitution. This requires the approval of Senate, which requires two-thirds of Senate present. For a better political mission, the president should avoid biases in the appointment an ambassador and make sure the treaties are to the better of the nation not for individual or own benefit.
