American domestic and foreign policy between the 1940s-1970s

You will once again write an argument-driven, evidence-based essay responding to the question below. Your answer should have a clear thesis statement and argument that addresses the question. Demonstrate the close intersection of American policies at home and abroad between the 1940s and 1970s with specific examples from course readings and lectures. In your essay, consider how concerns in the U.S. have shaped foreign policy and how overseas affairs have influenced events at home. You will also want to include information from this week's class on Vietnam.
