Article Review - Library Information Science discipline

Please locate a scholarly article to review from the past three years (2014-present) in a professional journal such as College & Research Libraries, Journal of Academic Librarianship, Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology, Library and Information Science Research, Library Quarterly, Library Resources & Technical Services, Medical Reference Services Quarterly, portal: Libraries and the Academy, Reference & User Services Quarterly, The Reference Librarian, Reference Services Review, RQ, or Research Strategies. Please do not use American Libraries, Library Journal, regional publications such as Colorado Libraries, or any other journal that does not feature scholarship. The article should be at least 10 pages long and should relate to some issue addressed in the Cassell and Hiremath chapters concerning "Bibliographic Resources," "Indexing and Full-Text Databases," or "Health, Legal, and Business Resources." It should show evidence that research/scholarship has been conducted in its preparation (look for footnotes, graphs, charts, statistics). The article should not be a review--there is little value in reviewing a piece that is itself a review! Please read the article and write two substantial paragraphs about it--and don't forget to cite the article at the beginning in APA format. (That means I want to see a stand-alone citation of the article in APA format at the top of the first page, before your first paragraph.) The first paragraph should be a summary that identifies the research question(s) or practical issue(s) at the heart of the article and explains how the article serves to illuminate the topic or topics of discussion. The second paragraph should comprise an evaluation. (Do not combine summary and evaluation--keep them separate.) Was the article well-researched? Did it make valid and useful points? If so, what were they? What questions about the topic were left unanswered? How might the article have been improved? Finally, is this an article that others should be sure to read? As you write your evaluation, please consider the points noted in the attached document, Eight Steps in Analyzing & Assessing Research (see attachement)

Many people do not have information on how best to come up with essays. There is a structure, format and guideline that every essay must follow and my perfect day essay is not an exception. Because of this, when you have the task or writing this essay, you should first of all, look at the essay question, so as to understand the major requirements. It is from the major requirements as stipulated in the question that you will pick the points to address in your essay. If this is one of the writing college application essays , then it should talk more about you. It should talk about what you felt about the perfect day experience and how it influenced you in relation to the course you want to read in college and the college you want to enroll in. However, on a general note, any perfect day essay should be about the person writing it and the events of the day that he or she thinks is a perfect one.
