The airline did not have any form of strategic plan steered by the management to ensure they attain significant strides across markets especially the desire to deliver the best in satisfying consumer expectations. The management is required to set up a framework that will guide the organization in attaining better performance across market segments. Causes of the Problem The lack of an elaborate management team stands out as a root course of the inefficiencies experienced in the organization. The failures of United Airlines in delivering a system that makes it possible for the organization to offer an impeccable customer service demonstrates the lack of a competent management team. The management is not driven by establishing a structured organizational culture which makes it possible for the entity to train their employees in a framework that defines their values and commitment to make a difference in the market.
