The farm was founded by the Chief Farmer parents in 1976. The Chief Farmer Alan, got into agriculture after deciding to help his mother manage the farm on her behalf. However, after the death of his mother, he inherited ownership of the farm. According to Alan, there is significant change between the farm at the present and during his younger years. He explained that the farm had significantly grown with respect to production and revenue increasing its total organic tomato production. This technological advance has opened an opportunity for home delivery options of fresh vegetables. The expansion of the internet market to support agricultural marketing is a major change in the industry. Business wise, Alan assert that there has been a significant change in organic farming.

He explains that recent years have been characterized with a high demand of organic products compared to a decade ago. He explains that the cause of the increased organic food demand results from the public awareness on healthy eating and living. Such a large farm which is productive and well managed is enough to not only feed Alan and his families but also feed the employees and support community programs and events. According to Alana majority of Americans are aware of the farming methods but are less concerned or have minimal care. Alan argued most Americans are still reluctant in adopting or living by healthy life standards. The factor that they are still feeding on fast foods makes it vivid that they are not concerned about the farming methods.
