Evaluation of Alignment between Rhetorical Form(s) and Situational Telos

Provide an analysis of the elements of substance and/or form that contribute, in your opinion, to the effectiveness (or ineffectiveness) of the rhetorical composition in achieving situational goals. You may focus on uses of repetition, refutation, story-telling, enthymematic reasoning, or other definable and illustratable means of engagement and persuasion. Your analysis should present a theory of rhetorical effectiveness (and/or meaningfulness), provide an account of the rhetorical situation, quote (or present) passages from the composition, identify discrete (and possibly interrelated) forms or methods of rhetorical engagement, and conclude with an explanation of how these elements together explain the success and/or failure of the composition’s likely main goals. This one should include proper references for at least three sources relevant to your project.
