Name: Tutor: Course: Date: China's Decision to Enter the Korean War Summary The Korean War that led to huge casualties ended in July 1953 left profound negative effects in Sino-American relations that healed in more than two decades (Yufan and Zhihai 94). The decision of China to enter the war on North Korea’s behalf is still mysteriously concealed or the explanation is not convincing. In the west it is believed (Yufan and Zhihai 115). The Chinese entered the war after American troops disobeyed the order not to cross the 38th parallel toward the Yalu River. The people of China had to support North Korea Forces and the war turned to China -United States military conflict.
