The doctrines of America relate to the origin of the Cold War in various ways because they completely differed with the Soviet Union’s ideologies, leading to conflicts1. The Cold War was a show of two powerful nations competing, the capitalist and the communist states. The United States and Western Europe led the communist country while the Soviet Union and China drove the Capitalist. The War resulted in tension between the two nations as the Western people were led to believe that communism was evil and would rule over the world in totalitarianism. American capitalists feared that the communists who were spreading so fast would take over their state. Later on, compelling political figures started receiving bombs meaning that the state was under attack by the communists.

The Communist nation based on collectivism while the United States, a liberal and modern society found its principles on individualism. The United States positioned itself on the left side of the economic spectrum as opposed to the Soviet Union which placed itself on the right spectrum. The American ideology significantly contributed to the cold war in that it constantly fought the Soviet Union’s doctrine of expanding communism in other parts of the world. 3 Capitalism ideology with which the United States dwelt on promoted the liberty of people over the control by the government. He feared that the world was getting apart at an alarming rate and had the Soviets to blame for it. The Soviets were encouraging regimes that were dictatorial and that were chocking the economy.

In 1946, Churchill accused the Soviet Union of taking control of Eastern Europe. The United States introduced a Marshal Aid that was to take control of the containment so that delivery of the economic aid would get to countries that were at higher risks of being absorbed by the communists. This theory worked on the basis of ensuring the nonexistence of communism support provided the people were contented hand the country was prosperous. All went on well until the greed to take over power came upon Russia and the United States. An Iron Curtain as stated by Churchill that had fallen over the European Continent referred to the different ideologies pursued by the two nations that led them into war. The American Capitalists lived in fear of the communists taking control of the whole world.

The pursue of capitalism by the Americans led to their strife for power thereby getting into some foreign wars. An example is a Korean war that led to the division of Korea into southern and northern Korea. After Invasion of the Soviet Union two years later, he noticed that the deal he had made was already forgotten. After 1941, Americans were encouraged to start viewing the Soviet Union as their partners in enhancing peace and winning over the Axis. They were advised to see the Russians as people who had same commitments to peace, the stability of the world order and who were committed to values of their democracy despite them having a different economic system. However, the Soviets had nothing to do with this.

They drove the German forces out of the Eastern part of Europe and placed communist puppet states all around the area. The Cold War proved to the world the fact that the international system is lawless. The chances of wars arising are always there. The world has been in constant change in the past half-century where people were living in fear of what was likely to happen next. At the end of the Cold War, the Soviet Union split, and a new order emerged. In this new order, the US became the superpower, and this has been so until presently.
