Nursing ethical principles essay

Standards used when carrying out research on human subjects should be similar to the ethical principles that guide the medical field. This is a fact that is disputed by researchers as it hampers their ability to push the limits of clinical trials and understand the medication under review (Nardini, 2014). Their argument revolves around the need fully understand the medication under review and prevent undue risk from spreading to other patients outside the clinical trials once the medication is approved. However, the main concern is with regard to the safety of the human subjects who participate in the trials. These subjects undergo significant risk during clinical trials and should be protected (Nardini, 2014). As a result, clinical and educational research should align their standards to ethical principles used in the medical field to protect the lives of their subjects.
