Predestination on the other hand is the belief that God has ordained everything that happens. Determinism differs greatly from the other two philosophies. Unlike fatalism, and predestination, determinism does not state that the future of human beings is already determined. In present day, determinism has replaced the other two philosophies. The philosophy influenced three world views in areas such as psychoanalysis by Sigmund Freud, physics by Isaac Newton and behavioral psychiatry by B. Lastly, there is pantheism which is a doctrine which regards the world a clear manifestation of god. There are various arguments for the existence for an all perfect God. One of these arguments is the ontological argument. St. Anselm developed an argument which stated that for God to exist he must exist both in life and the mind.
