She told us that this woman was considered one of the most beautiful people to ever live. Then she showed us a picture of Marilyn Monroe and said she was also considered beautiful. But she looked completely different than Audrey Hepburn! My classmates and I were so confused. We didn't understand how these two women could be considered beautiful when they looked so different from each other. That was the first time I started to question what beauty meant. So, when we write the "What is beauty?" essay, in fact, each of us will write the "What does beauty mean to you" essay. When you hear the word "beauty," what comes to mind? For many people, the first thing that pops into their heads is a physical attribute.

But beauty isn't just skin deep. True beauty goes much deeper than that. There are many different types of beauty. This can lead to a lot of negative self-image issues for women. Men also feel the pressure to meet society's standards of beauty but to a lesser extent. This is because society has different expectations for men and women when it comes to beauty. I think it's more difficult for women to feel confident in their own beauty than it is for men. This is partly due to the fact that our society has a much narrower definition of beauty for women. How you define beauty is up to you. But it's important to remember that true beauty comes from within.
