The features in this are not named and it is left for us to know that Red Crosse is dressed in the armor of Christian faith according to the biblical teaching. The lady on the donkey represent Christian faith mounted on humility, and the white lamb she is leading represents Christ, the Lamb of God. Through the Red Crosse character he explores the important virtues of Holiness and Chastity which he believes are significant in Christian religion.
