Classical music report

I sat in the front row, just a few feet away from the stage. Immediately I noticed all the different types of instruments that made up the orchestra: because there was a variety of color, the piece never sounded boring despite being almost half an hour long. Listening for the different melodies within the orchestra was an interesting experience. The violins, who acted as the soprano part, often carried the melody, but the same melody sounded almost completely different when played by the cello or the trumpet It was clear how much these musicians must have practiced: they always seemed to be moving together, as though they were one unit. All the bows moved in the same directions, and the musicians swayed together to the beat of the music.
