This is through looking hoe social incompetence contributes to social deviance. There are social regulations which include the rules and guidelines on how one should behave in daily life. One can practice these rules and guidelines in controlling deviant behavior and avoiding falling into the social deviant trap. Social control is often used to force deviant behavior, especially in family, organizations, and gangs. Methods can be used not to only educate deviant behavior but also to force members and individuals in the society who may not even be a member of to follow and comply with the deviant behavior. Structural processes such as marriages, becoming a parent and stable employment tend to strengthen ties the society based on culture, norms, and beliefs.
