Annotated Bibliography Name Instructor Institution Date Annotated Bibliography Harris K. J. Andrews M. C. & Kacmar K. M. (2007). The moderating effects of justice on the relationship between organizational politics and workplace attitudes. Journal of Business and Psychology 22(2) 135-144. The scope of the resource under investigation is organizational politics (Harris Andrews & Kacmar 2007). It focuses mainly on the effects of the perception of organizational politics on the outcomes for individuals (Harris et al. 2007). The purpose of the study is to explore procedural and distributive justice and their effect on the relationship that exists between perceptions of organizational politics job satisfaction and turnover intentions (Harris et al. 2007). The philosophical approach taken by the resource is that both distributive and procedural justice greatly impact on social exchange relationships among employees (Harris et al. 2007). The main assumption associated with the resource under investigation is that the perception of resource is of the view that mediation between the employer and the employees can help resolve these issues. It is worth noting that the resource is not a research reporting article. As such it lacks a methodology section (Berggren 2006). The resource is related to others consulted in this course in that it acknowledges the fact that workplace disputes tend to impact on the employee satisfaction (Berggren 2006). It is of the view that workplace conflicts especially those between employees and their employer lower the morale of the workers (Berggren 2006). A major limitation associated with the resource is that it is over a decade old (Berggren 2006). Some of the information contained in it may be somewhat outdated (Berggren 2006). A key opportunity for further research is on the steps that can be taken to ensure that resolutions reached through alternative dispute resolution mechanisms are binding (Berggren 2006). [...]
