Cognitive Behavior Therapy implementation entails three fundamentals stages. Assessment is one of the major processes, and it is applied to access how behaviors, feelings, and thoughts are adding to the presenting issue with regards to duration, thoughts, and intensity. The cognitive therapy developed by Albert Ellis and Aaron Beck during the 1960s is based on the fact that emotive and behavioral aspects are essential to combat both the psychological dysfunction and distress, and it helps to explore the way by which emotional or behavioral outcomes are caused by activating events by being filtered via the belief system of the service users. The theory of Cognitive therapy stresses on the essentiality that is initiated by the service users or schemes contribute to the thought process that maintains the troublesome situations.

Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, both cognitions and behaviors are acknowledged for their importance in psychological distress and dysfunction contribution. Therefore, that target is supposed to be placed on behaviors, feelings and thoughts integration. Who would benefit from this intervention activity/ demonstration and why? Cognitive behavioral therapy can be applied to conquer several mental health issues such as sex issues and relationships, addiction to drugs, eating disorders, mood swings, sleep issues, compulsive-obsessive disorder, anxiety or panic attacks, depression, anger management, cyberspace addiction among others. If therapist and clients are engaged in consultation concerning the specific problem, this is the most effective way to identify whether a problem can be settled through Cognitive behavioral therapy.
