Moore covers all possible reasons which can make a person in the US be denied health coverage by their insurance firm. These reasons resonate with most citizens in the US. Moore also brings a comparison of healthcare services between the US and other countries which are performing much better than the US in the health care system. He uses countries such as Canada, France, and Cuba. He uses these countries to create a persuasive picture of the universal health care. The major goal of the Act is to expand the health insurance coverage to cover a larger population of the people of the US than it covers currently. The Act also wishes to reform in totality the health care system such that it can provide quality and affordable health care to all citizens of America.

Through the Act, the health value and health delivery system will be improved. The ACA seeks to make health care affordable through creating exchange policies where individuals can easily purchase the coverage. Small businesses can also access the insurance covers easily and cheaply through the implementation of the Act. Some of the rigidities such as long queues cannot be addressed by the reforms suggested by the Act. Another issue that the film raises is the element of cost. The film advocates for a healthcare system where patients can access the health services without having to pay any amount. The expenses should be taken care by the government in full amounts. The Affordable Care Act only provides some solutions to some of the questions raised by the film, but some remain unanswered.
