In the past women with disabilities were perceived as weak individuals and their conditions were seen as inabilities. But there has been a change and women with disabilities are now taking part in building a better world. Many disabled women work in non-profit organizations where they participate in advocating for recognition of the disabled community and marketing of various activities that focus on the well being of the community.
