The tribes that opted to side with the Americans In the beginning, Native Americans opted to be neutral. However, by 1776 the sides courted the confederacy of Iroquois. The Brant, who was formally known as Thayendanegea succeeded to get 4 tribes of Iroquois out of the Six to fight for the British. The remaining groups; Tuscaroras and Oneidas sided with the Americans. The tribes that sided with British The four tribes out of six convinced by Joseph Brant fought for the British. The war particularly happened from the Bosom to the nearby Concord. After the fight, the American (Lexington) won the battle. Below are the photos representing the battle from both sides.
