A hero is supposed to be inspiring and an individual that improves the quality of life. Better outcomes from their actions in society without their desire to seek credit define a hero. Heroic actions are reminiscent of free will to serve a community or family without anticipating anything in return for the commitment put up towards solving different challenges faced by other people. The spirit of service to the people through the use of their abilities and character traits define a hero in any society. An understanding of heroic actions in society comes in different versions and premised on the understanding established by different people. For instance in the case of literary expression of the story on “The train from hate” represents a situation where a mother teaches the son about racial intolerance and guides him on the benefits that come with being proud of himself.

The mother inspires the child to be steadfast and believe in himself and not to allow any person look down upon him based on his racial orientation (Franklin, 150). It is a heroic action to guide a child on good values and attributes that define a significant role of changing perspective and thinking on racism at the humble position of a parent. In some sections, a hero is depicted in different literature formation where often happen to have a noble hero who is challenged by a defect in either their personality or actions (Rose, 12). The hero would experience misfortunes from the flaws that establish the trajectory of their life and come to an understanding to take responsibility for the actions or inaction necessitated by the flaws.

In conclusion, it is imperative to underscore that not all people regarded as a hero fits the definition. A hero is evaluated by their history, qualities, character traits and motivation to voluntarily do good but let others take the credit. The absence of self-centeredness defines a hero and the level of commitment to influence the lives of other people in their little way of making the world a better place. The success of other people is what motivates a hero to offer their counsel and guidance that empowers societies to change perspectives and misconceptions on different situations across several community beliefs. Indeed a hero does not need to say they are but their actions speak to the positivity they bring to the world.
