Some of the elements of the management systems include leadership, responsibility, compliance, procedures, preparedness, records, maintenance, communication, and work control. Some of the currently used methods in analyzing and auditing management systems may include the following: • Management system standards. These refer to set procedures and strategies used in managing inter-related parts of the organization in order to achieve its set goals. These objectives can highly relate to a number of aspects such as service or product quality, environmental performances, operational efficiency, safety, and health in the workplace (Zaring, 2006). This particular method of auditing will highly depend on the organization’s context. An organization with a large bureaucratic can only be described using one word “tight”, in these particular organizations procedures and policies exist and control everything.

These particular organizations have tight control of all activities including day to day activities of the firm; change is also very slow when it comes. Bureaucratic organizations are highly organized with organizational procedures in every department (Weber, 2015). Each and every employee knows his or her place and keenly understands his or her responsibilities. Typically, many organizational levels start with the chief executive officer and the rest of the employees follow forming a pyramid. This helps the organization’s employees since everyone is focused on the company’s goals and visions. This particularly encourages employee engagement which is an enemy of large bureaucracy. • Initiatives and positive attitudes. Bureaucrats are always pointing fingers at anyone who crosses them even if they are plainly innocent in order to cover their own behinds.

This is particularly done by bureaucrats in order to ensure they create excuses for something they have not fully accomplished (Scott, 2015). Transparency. A transparent manager will always aim at inspiring respect and trust among the employees. By creating transparency in the organization, a manager will be in a position to analyze management systems and create effectiveness in a large bureaucracy. A manager who has transparency as a virtue will help encourage the virtue among other employees in the organization this is because employees are likely to go into a different direction if the manager lies or keeps important information from them. Accept feedback. Thus, as manager willing to analyze management systems and promote effectiveness in a large bureaucracy, one is expected to lead by example so that others can learn from you.

Foster accurate and detailed communication. As a manager looking forward to analyzing management systems and promoting effectiveness in a large bureaucracy, he or she should encourage detailed and accurate information. This will enable the true passing of information from certain sources to the right recipients. Such an organization aiming at operating effectively in a large bureaucracy should encourage accuracy, clarity, and thoroughness throughout all communication channels. Training not only does it equip employees with new and informed strategies to perform certain tasks, but it also motivates them in their daily activities.
