Students name: Instructors name: Institution affiliation: Date: American Colonization of the West Introduction The westward movements got derailed by some factors such as fear of attacks from the Indians barriers from mountains and a frontier life that was risky. Explores went beyond the mountains and came back full of praises of the land beyond the mountains. This got the whites an urge to venture into the lands. The praises of a rich fertile land was convincing enough to get the settlers moving west wards towards the mountains with a bid to take over. This created a colony that headed for the mountains to take control of the west. On reaching there there were conflicts from the natives; this led to fights from both sides in order to keep the land. The natives who were American Indians used to hunt on the lands and a new settlement was a threat displaced the natives and took control of the land (History.com staff n.p). Conclusion The Western world was developed through farming. Through these developments rail road’s were created for easier transportation and the end was a world that bore the great America. Colonialists took control of these lands and made it their home many states were created in this region and a revolution to a great America began.
