Emotional intelligence assists a person in knowing what is right in various circumstances. In an organization, emotional intelligence is significant as it facilitates good communication which is an important aspect in a business. For instance, in Gay's article a person with emotional intelligence will not tolerate being emotionally or physically abused by another for any reason. Emotional intelligence helps one make the best decisions in life. Decision making is a key factor for success. There s no diversity when a man chooses to abuse a female as it is morally wrong. In an organization, diversity should be highly practiced to avoid cases of conflicts. Diversity brings people together and a common set goal is achieved with ease.
