C. E. Later, the era extended into the emergence of the Christianity and finally, the collapse of the Roman Empire in the 5th century. Respected artists through liberal humanism formulated the foundations of the modern world through their contribution to the Renaissance (Beck n. p). The Renaissance artists achieved their highest latitude through narratives, pictures or historical recounts (Periti 320). By concentrating their attention on the classical mythology and the Judeo-Christian tradition, the prominent personnel located an architectural work within a given environment to represent a unique story. Such contexts were essential to the painters as they managed to display human beings – men, women, and children in different poses and postures. Besides, it was another way to attach emotions to the subject matter at their disposal.

During Renaissance, the artists gained independent attributes comparable to writers and poets. p). For instance, the Italian sculptors were able to access the Roman sculptures in the shape of marble sarcophagi shallowly buried under relief features. The Italian artists were classified according to their generation of influence. The first category was known as Early Renaissance Sculpture, a cohort marked by the contributions of three Florentines: Filippo Brunelleschi, Lorenzo Gilberti, and Donato di Niccolo. As goldsmiths, these personalities made significant contributions including designing of the octagonal dome of Florence Cathedral, two sets of gilded bronze doors and bronze David respectively. For instance, the giants from Florence such as Antonio del Pollaiuolo explored the complexities of human anatomy, a quality that resulted in the concentration of musculature as seen in Martyrdom of Saint Sebastian (Periti 322).

However, the leading figure under this group of artists is Sandro Botticelli. He was the master of this era. Botticelli received favors from the Medici family living in Florence. His attributes were loud enough through masterpiece artistic designs. In essence, this style was reconciliatory in nature in that he fostered unity between tradition and Christian values. Primarily, the revival of classical antiquity was a robust movement whose impacts have lasted for centuries later. During this period, people became informed about the desire to rekindle the traditional artistic designs that had been buried into archives or were disregarded. A series of the invention in sculpture, painting, and architecture drove the urge of Renaissance in the art industry. Originating in Italy, this progress has spread from royal setups to dominant academic and professional lifestyles.
