It is one of the major factors that make up the modern world through the practices that people have and which they hold as true. There are various religious functions across the world even if these religious groups can be drawn back to centuries ago and people have continued to hold a higher esteem to these religious values and practices. Buddhism is one of the major religious functions across the world. It is one of the oldest religious practices that can be traced back to the 7th century. The practice and the religious activities in Buddhism are characterized by various gods and goddesses who are highly valued across the Buddhist community all over the world. Therefore, this god is often depicted in the female form and it is often regarded as the protector of the women and the children in the community.

However, it is important to note that this god is also important to all members of the society but only captures on the issue and on the development of the children and the women in a higher proposition. The motherly love is what is used to show and express in the full development and the whole overview of this goddess who is a whole compassionate goddess in the Japanese Buddhist practices (McMahan 57). The goddess is a very passionate one. It is one of the goddesses that human beings can always turn to when there are a need and the same goddess will offer the much needed emotional support, love, and compassion. The bushes have one of the richest arts that explain the people’s views and how various goddesses and other key religious concepts and practices in the community are portrayed (Smith 109).

The development and the artistic representation of the gods and the goddesses in the Buddhism religion and practices are promoted and based on rituals. Virtually, almost all religious activity across the world is bound by some key rituals that are often performed to seek favors, pray and even communicate with the supreme deities. The occurrences and the existence of some of these rituals and practices are bound how the people worship, the practices that are required of them and also the higher extreme of ensuring that these rituals are performed as per the stipulated conditions (Ives 95). There are various stipulations that bind the various religious activities and rituals that are performed in the temples of Buddhist in Japan and these rituals vary from the worship of one god or goddesses to the other.
