Student’s Name Professor’s Name Course DateDoes God Exist? Many questions as to whether God exists linger in the minds of the people in the 21st century. According to the numerous surveys conducted on the topic for instance a survey conducted by the Time magazine that posed the question “Is God Dead?’. In the United States the answers put to the questions are nearly unanimous with a 95% of all Americans in agreement that God exists. The article raises pertinent questions that cast doubt on the existence of God. The Paper shall provide substantial information on the summary of the article debate and an explanation of the reasons why I believe God exists. In summary there are different academic arguments against and for God’s existence they include cosmological ontological teleological and moral. First the cosmological arguments provide information pertaining the “first cause” and origin of the world all this in as compared to Muhammad Confucius Moses and Buddha all who identified themselves as prophets. God has provided absolute proof of his existence and he does not force the people to believe in him but rather provides sufficient evidence to support his existence. In conclusion two groups hold divergent views on the debate pertaining the existence and the non-existence of God and they are theists and atheists. Theists believe there is explicit evidence to prove the existence of God. Atheists on the other hand hold evidence and arguments to the contrary that indicate that there is no sufficient evidence to have the belief in the existence of God.
