The culture in France shows a high PDI of 62 as seen in its active hierarchies within most organizations. Consequently effective decision making majorly relies on the top management. However at lower hierarchies the consensus is preferred in crafting decisions. Given the standing of France H&M will have of 48 which is an average score. The index implies that the French do not prefer leisure sports and other relaxed sexual standards. The condition of the economy necessitates H&M to make decisions regarding how well they are going to promote their products. The company must adopt promotional methods to improve coverage of the product in the French market. Works cited Hofstede Geert. "Geert hofstede." National cultural dimensions (2010). I am looking for someone who is able to edit my work - P5 Instructions: Hofstede’s dimensions, you have provided some minimal explanation of how different scores on these dimensions may influence H&M operations. However, your discussion of these dimensions was poorly structured, very elementary, and at times inaccurate. For example, when discussing ‘Power Distance’, your explanation of the dimension is very ambiguous; you wrongly reference H&M (instead of Hofstede) when explaining what power distance means; you fail to provide a value for France and discuss what it means for this national culture (not to mention the fact that comparison country is entirely missing), and fail to discuss implications for H&M operating in France (or managing French subsidiary from a country of different a value in Power Distance).
