The society itself is build up in a collectivistic way whereby the community mutually involves each other on its activities. The Rome culture is however rich in its values and religious beliefs which is part of their identity which is associated with their day to day activities, the ancient Rome was too much into worshiping of idols until Christianity was made a national faith. Introduction The Roman republic is indeed one of its own with unique characteristics due to its cultural beliefs and diverse history. The main objective of understanding the Roman republic and the Roman culture is to be able to know why some activities happen the way they are happening now. The Rome culture is widely practiced in many parts of the world today with some nations amending some parts of their policies to accommodate its peoples too.

The citizens were the ones that elected their representative. The way that senates would work is that it was less of a democracy because they were expected to play an active role in governing. The citizenship in Rome was divided into three categories. Full citizens could vote, marry freely, and practice commerce. Other citizens were not allowed to vote or hold office but can still participate in their other rights. What are some values of your culture? The values of the roman were defined in so many ways in that they have various cults as well as the ways of worship. They initially worshipped the Italian gods like the mars and Jupiter. The second value of the Romans was there were over 1000 temples and shrines whereby there were different types of people speaking different languages; they as well eat different kinds of foods.

Lastly, the slaves were treated as part of the family members and that was how they treat all the foreigners who come across their lands. Discuss your culture's religion(s)? Conclusion In conclusion, after reviewing as well as seeing how the Romans lived as well as their cultures, one could easily tell the relationship between the ancient Rome and the modern Rome as well as the relationship it has with other cultures. It is indeed true that the Romans do not care too much about life and the soldiers themselves do not fight hard in wars to ensure that the life’s of people is protected.
