Institution Instructor Course Date Christian Eschatology Introduction The eschatology which translates to matters concerning the end of the world or simply put the latter-day events is the study or subject of events surrounding the end of the world. It concerns itself with the life death and resurrection heaven and hell that unfolds at the end of time. This end of time is the wiping away of sin and the devil and the ushering of a new era a time where sin and death are no more. In this essay I discuss the events and the Christian understanding of the eschatology based on Bible stories and the prophecies of latter-day events. Christian eschatology Eschatology has always been the theme of the Bible with almost all events promises and unfolding stories in Christianity pointing to the final closing events of the world. Well for a Christian this means that there is reward every man according to their works. It thus imparts a conscience to the present and directs the future in that choices will have consequences (Finney 166-184). It is thus integrated into our daily living. We are to live as Christ lived if we are to overcome as he did (Yoseph 19-32). Works Cited Finney Mark. "What the...? Developments of Hell in its Jewish and Christian Contexts."
