Communication in Business Organizations Student’s Name Institutional Affiliation Communication in Business Organizations Question 1 The core problem facing EMC corps is high running cost of operating the company. The developer of the information products also faces grumbling among the company’s top officials. High running cost at the company is attributed to some trivial things done by both the employees such as high usage of electricity during winter. Grumbling among the company’s executives is as a result of ineffective decision-making strategies confrontation of ideas and management issues (Forsyth & Kay 2008). High running cost is a concern that needs to be resolved. Maximization of profit in any business originations narrows down to the management’s ability to effectively monitor the expenses. Cutting down unnecessary spending would ensure a lot of money is saved. Providing cheaper and efficient alternatives to replace expensive methodologies is another only to cut expense but also to prevent grumbling among officials. Some of the solutions facing the company were resolved with the aid of social media (Forsyth & Kay 2008). Social media platforms are the invention of the 21st century. If such problems had occurred in the past they would not have used social media. The management would have formed a team to enquire on effective measures that might have suggested laying off of workers or any other suggestion that would be appropriate. References DuBrin A.
