As time progressed the brand grew from its headquarters to other regions outside of America, such as Europe, Hong Kong and others. In order to assess the brand’s marketing capabilities and stand in the market, a Political, Economic, Social and Technological analysis is conducted. This paper aims at completing the intended task of analyzing the macro environment of the brand and its impacts on other apparel companies in the market. Political Factors The roles played by the various politics of a country determine the marketability and profitability of Hollister Co. as it carries out business within its environments. Looking at the structure of the different countries, taxation rates are different and as such the different stipulations might affect the company.

Other factors that might affect the company politically include: • Risk of invasion from the military for instance if there are instabilities in the country’s government • Safety regulations implemented to control the service industry Economic Factors Every business’ aim is to make profits and grow in the market. Hollister Co. as a clothing brand was initiated to propel a project that would sustain the needs of the lower stat earners in the community. There are different factors that are impact the business economically. Therefore, when the company implements its prices they might be lower or higher than the expected market price, hence causing implications for the brand. Social Factors In advertising, a company might use a marketing strategy that will pull resources and improve the company’s profits.
