Martin Luther had a dream of unity and equality with an end to slavery and racism. Malcom X in his civil right activism believed that the whites and blacks could live together as one society. Their blood sweat and tears brought changes that have travelled over generations and for that we honor them. However the battle is yet to be won. Today should mark a beginning of changes within us as a society and a community at large. The society is made up of men and women male and female. Together is what makes the changes we so desire to see females can easily associate with the males for the improvement of a better society. we are the shapers of our destiny and it lies in our hands today. Male and female collaboration is what is needed in reversing the old belief of gender inequality and separation. Together as a society with no gender biases we must collaborate and invest in relevant institutions and policies that will eliminate the differences in gender privileges.
