Final Film Critique (Example)

Document Preview:

Film Critique: Charles Chaplin’s City Lights Name of Student Institutional Affiliation Charles Chaplin’s City Lights in 1931 and directed by Charles Chaplin. The film starred the following characters Hank Mann Allan Garcia Florence Lee Harry Myers Virginia Cherrill and Charles Chaplin. The film’s cinematographers were Roland Totheroh Gordon Pollock and Mark Marklatt. The City Lights is a drama that takes one hour and twenty-eight minutes. The Chaplin’s film has been well known for its silent eloquence or somehow the spectators with regards to the film are calmed with only secretive tears and sighs "oh dear oh dear." In other they can be described as having mumbled with the aching of their sides as they are demonstrated rocking while seated. The closing episode that features Tramp peeping through the windows sees a woman who the film illustrates as having found it difficult to hold her tears back from the persistent of the City Lights takes us back to the blockbusters that were popular for being louder and bigger and thus conveying a message that makes most audiences regard silent films as outdated. It is therefore important to postulate that it is a great disappointment to see individuals deny themselves great pleasure that emanates from silent films like the City Lights. Exploration of this kind of cinema generates an indefinable magic in which the spheres of virtuosity and spectacle are absorbed in the City Lights. I therefore wish to mention that anyone seeking silent film that could be enjoyable for both family and friends Chaplin's City Lights is the best selection. References Berardinelli James.
