Think: How is art a reflection of its society? This week we will start to think about how prehistoric and ancient art offers historians clues to the values, customs, and ideals of historic cultures. To do this, we will again look closely at the ways artists use elements and principles of design, but we will take our learning one step further by thinking about how these formal characteristics create meaning or convey ideas.
