Among this form is the “Vietnam Veterans Memorial” which was the design by Maya Lin. Maya Lin is an American designer, architect, and artist. Maya is known in the areas of land and sculpture art. The museum composed of the names and some statues of the fallen soldiers who fought against Vietnam in making the situation better for the remaining Americans. The author uses various style to depicts the true identity and the nature of American society at large. Despite sitting on the famous monuments of the American history, Washing Mall, it had striking variations from the ancient forms of a memorial which identifies the controversial stories surrounding the war in Vietnam. Maya designed the wall which is not visible from behind and that someone has to come and take a close inspection to get what is contained in the design.

These features were used by Maya Lin to identify the kind of stigma that was inflicted upon the fallen soldiers and those that were coming back from war and not to reflect any item or object. According to her, she designed the structure with names arranged in chronological order. They were arranged in parallel with the length of the wall in sequential order of demise through the entire course of a fight. The struggles and emotions of the community are expressed in this form of work thus inspiring the society and the nation at large to adapt and also overcoming various challenges and encounters. Art has dramatically changed the way people view the world, and in other words, life at some points tends to imitate art and not the other way around.
