Colleges as institutions of learning across the globe tend to engage in competitive public awareness through different strategies which includes sports competitive learning and community participation. However among all the strategies of public awareness sports and especially athletics tend to enhance the most public image for the institutions of learning. It is important and despite the commitment of getting knowledge; most of the colleges invest in students talented in athletics because remunerated only if they are proven vulnerable to support their livelihood. However in my opinion it may not be prudent to pay athletics student as this would makes them lose focus in education and eventually get poor grades contrary to the expectations from the parents.
