Institution Instructor Course Date Questions on “A Good Man is Hard to Find” 1. The story shows a man who was mistreated by the society. In this short story the misfit was unjustly accused of a crime that he didn't commit. To him it doesn't matter whether one does right or wrong injustice is to all as to himself. The society therefore casts a blame on the misfits those whose punishment cannot fit for their crimes and has them cast behind the bars. In the story we get to understand that the misfit was in a kids as comical in a should-be-gloomy scene. Also their shouting that they have had an accident shows that it's like they really wanted to experience a fatal accident. Besides all the way from home the grandma tried to persuade them not to go to Georgia because misfit has been released. They protest and even tease at her childishly. Also the author records that the car of misfit looked like a hearse and that he had no shirt on clues that there was a danger. The woods behind were gapping like a big mouth foreshadowing death.
