Although there may be goals that are set for the employees to achieve their lack of involvement and consultation in the process of developing them undermines their motivation towards achieving the set goals ("Performance Management | Keeping The Right People"). When setting out the goals of an organization it is critical to involve the already feel motivated and appreciated they may work extra hard and achieve the goals. When employees feel like they are part of the organization and treated with respect and their opinions and input valued they make it their personal objective to achieve the goals of the organization.
