Personal statement for university of Maryland

A career in accounting provides a platform for a professional to apply task-solving techniques on a daily basis providing an exciting and diverse working environment. As a people's person, I am confident that accounting is a perfect fit since it allows one to collaborate with different departments in an organization and participate in dynamic improvements. Accounting, I feel, offers much more than just numbers as traditionally thought since it also incorporates individual skills and competences as well as strong analytical skills for solving life problems. The University of Maryland not only provides an above standard degree in accounting but is recognizable for building a strong accounting foundation. Having been born and raised in China, I have had the opportunity of interacting with diverse cultures throughout my schooling.
