The implication is that mothers who are expectant and always consume an unhealthy diet put their children at high risk of developing health complications that in most cases are irreversible. However, some approaches can be adopted with the intent of reducing the possible occurrence of birth defects in children. Problem statement Pregnant women are unable to identify the appropriate diet necessary for particular stages of pregnancy, which increases the risk of the child developing long-term health issues. However, such risks can be controlled through the adoption of various dietary concerns and any other associated actions that will improve the state of health of the mothers. Solution Options Prenatal health care i. iv. Solution Option Time Estimate The solution options always start immediately when the pregnancy emerges to imply that it will go for an estimated time of nine months when the child will be delivered.

Solution Option Risk Analysis The possible risk associated with the solution option is that the health provider can fail to come up with the right body and health condition of both the mother and the child hence leading to more health complications. vi. Solution option Risk Analysis The risk associated with the option is that there are incidences where foods can be recommended to the pregnant woman yet they have side effects as well. vi. Solution Option Effects The effects are that some foods will react with the body of the patients because of allergy yet they are the preferred foods. Recommended Solution The best-recommended solution from the two is prenatal care because it will into all aspects of the health of the pregnant women stating from diet to other possible causes of birth defects.
