The internet and the social media has resulted in the redefinition of nature of the sexuality which creates a new community of people that do not acknowledge the societal accepted femininity and masculinity gender relations. The social life of individuals, especially between boys and girls, has also taken a new approach following the nature of the male and female publicity over social media. The revolution has also been felt in the entertainment industry which has shifted from the mainstream media to various social media instead. Such changes are seen between the imbalanced relations between the socialites and the fans. The social media and the internet display an omnipresent technique in the arrangement and the organization of the family, close and the social connections of the youths.

This difference in the males and females public nudity put girls and boys in demented position in the digital visual economy. Comparatively, when girls and boys upload their nude photos online, the boys do not face equal risk as the girls do therefore position the boys in the state of gaining much better out of the social media derogations and humiliations compared to girls. The internet and social media today make people uncomfortable with the kind of equivocalness incarnated by the important transgender community. Existing is very few representations in the mainstream media of the transgender population renouncing the categories of either being, transsexual, transvestite, post-op or pre-op. Individuals may define themselves as transgender, but they modify their bodies to conform to the accepted codes for femininity and masculinity for females and males respectively.

Claiming to be transsexual means one requires hormones and surgery to be transqueer, and that means one must either be male or female. This suggests to capitulate to the gender and sexuality ideas is neither queer nor transgressive (Rhodes 1451). The internet has a significant effect on the culture of the celebrity in the world today. It has developed a superabundance of new way out over which the circulation of the celebrity discourse occurs. The gossips of the internet like pink in the New Blog, Perez Hilton, and the trivial are seldom controlled and submissive to the distresses of commerce than television or magazines show. Social media such as Twitter can preserve the status of celebrities. Significantly, twitter subscribers disclose how the social media can be employed to retain the state of the star.
