The quality and artistic style in his art did not change because he was paralyzed. Also, the fact that his condition of being face blind did not limit him from being able to paint faces show that his work was masterful. Although he used different painting styles and used more time painting that he did before the accident did not limit him from delivering the best art as the best artist. 2) How does Chuck Close's artwork blur the distinctions between abstraction and representation? How does his use of color illustrate this blurring of genres? Chuck’s work represents actual subjects; the paints are of actual real people and not just an imaginary. Representation is seen in his art in that one can identify who is painted in an art.
