It is also noteworthy that conceptualization of sustainable urban design without implementation is of little value. The barriers to delivery include; lack of political will lack of vision selfishness and lack of choice. Good urban design involves better basis to make decisions which have an impact on the social environmental and economic sustainability. It also requires a holistic view of each urban design dimension which has an impact on the global and local contexts. Urban design is a part of sustainable development agenda which will create economically environmentally and socially sustainable places.
