Ethics in Walmart Company Student’s Name Institutional Affiliation Ethics in Walmart Walmart Company began in 1962 under the foundations of Sam Walton (Morillo McNally & Block 2015). For him the inception of this idea was a vision come because he dreamt of starting a store that would offer low prices goods. Currently Walmart is the global biggest public corporation. The company has been ranked the best for six times in the Fortune Global 500 list. Walmart has had continuous progress and growth in the recent past. The enterprise is now expanding branches to compete favorably though overwhelmed with ethical matters. In 1962 Walton operated the original store in Rogers Arkansas. Within five years Walton had started 24 stores and had made significant sales collecting benefits of over 12 million dollars. Ten years the company had made sales almost 80 million dollars and was operating 51 stores. Twenty years down it is a common thing for big companies. We hope that Walmart will keep growing and purpose to learn about excellent industrial management skills. Additionally hopefully they will keep healthy ethical behaviors to gain confidence in many people and redeem their previous appealing image. References Ferrell O. C. & Fraedrich J.
