The role of Education in Mary Shelly Frankenstein Life

This is because a dream inspired Mary Shelly's writings. This happened after the young girl was with her family in Lake Geneva in Switzerland and after reading some horror looks with the pope, each of them was required to write something out of it. However, Frankenstein went ahead further and wrote some of the things that she had seen in her dream and which changed her writings in general. One of the prime themes that the writings of Frankenstein dwelt on is education. She wrote extensively about education and the role that it played in her life and the lives of the people. The poor in the society used to receive education through the tenets of the church who taught them on how to learn some basic things such as mathematics and small knowledge.

This was in contrary to the children from rich families who learn more extensively than the poor children. The children from poor families in most cases who could not attend schools took this time to help their parents from the large feudal farms and other factories. These children grew up working in such factories and farms, and hence they lacked the basic tents of special education that was required of them during the time. It was also during this time that the wealthy families sent their children to very expensive schools where the quality of education was very high, and it was also very expensive. The emphasize that she put on the role of education to her brother Victor Frankenstein provides the basic knowledge through which education was largely utilized for the great benefit of his quest for a better way of dealing and handling various issues that touché don the society.

According to Frankenstein, her brother Victor Frankenstein who was also homeschooled. Victor was homeschooled, and his parents were very strict on education, and hence he was able to get the highest education that was of great help to him. According to Victor, this enabled him to learn and study profusely, and he mastered many techniques such as mathematics, and he was also able to master various languages which include Greek, Latin, English and also Germany. He was also able to learn the subjects of sciences and other early theories. She argues that education is important, but it can bring adverse effects on someone if not controlled. People who are obsessed with education tend to have less regard for their health, and they also have fewer considerations for other people.
