He urges that the people who are close to the government do not get to know what is happening to the society and thus they may not understand what the society passes through. The issue of violence of faction does not affect all the members of a society but a certain group of them which may either be minority or majority “By a faction I understand a number of citizens whether amounting to a majority or a minority of the whole who are united and actuated by some common impulse of passion or of interest adverse to the rights of other citizens”. The issue of a faction should be controlled by voting where the majority determines the outcome of the votes. Different forms of sure that the will of the will of the majority is followed. It is the responsibility of the society to fight for its liberty but is not the government to determine how liberty is used in the American society. Liberty can only be brought back in any society through the use of the power of the majority rather than using different ways of carrying out amendments that the society does not understand. I agree with this argument and I support it much. It is the responsibility of any society to use its democratic rights in determining the way that it is governed. I also support his claim that the government has misused the meaning of democracy.
