The group has also been linked severally with numerous terror attacks in different parts of the world. Initially from Saudi Arabia Bin Laden has been identified to have made visits to various parts of the world where he would meet up with his followers to come up with plans aimed at promoting their agendas. Up until his death Osama Bin Laden was ranked as one of the most wanted individuals in the world this to enlighten his audience which made his audience to swear their allegiance to him toward attacking America. This influence was crucial as it allowed him to remain the leader of the various extremist movements even long after the 9/11 attack up until his death in 2011 (Bowden 2012). Osama continued to use the same tactics to win the trust of his followers which made him remain in hiding for more than a decade after a bounty had been made on his life by the United States’ government.
