Disorders that are associated with psychosis including schizophrenia usually spring after a person hits the prime time of their teenage years and early adulthood (Matins et. al p 2). The reason as to why the young people are very much vulnerable to psychosis is still a mystery to most doctors around the globe. The thing that is most alarming of this is that the symptoms may last and gradually advance for days, months or even years before a person has a better glimpse at what is fact and not fictious. The victim may have depression, anxiety and experience sleep deviations. sometimes, it is a symptom of a mental illness like schizophrenia and bipolar disease (Matins et. al p 3). Most schizophrenic people operate on limited and isolated spaces hence zero positivity towards actually existing and living. This is the main reason why a high percentage of them are both unemployed or working for minimum wages and hence meaningless existence. Conclusion When psychosis is identified and healed at an earlier age, (National Alliance of Mental Health) the person has higher chances of recovery and a not-so-gloomy existence. Nobody can exist in solitude and still claim normalcy, hence the need for a person to get treated immediately they stumble upon their first few signs. This is for the avoidance of very many blocks along the road. If one is at the risk of either harming himself or others, then the person needs to be admitted in a hospital bed with immediate attention from the doctors. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can help a person be aware of when psychotic episodes occur. Cognitive Enhancement Therapy (CET) on the other hand also warns on the impending psychotic episode although this one uses computers to monitor the individual’s vitals (National Institute of Mental Health).
